Add optional
preference to automatically read the EDM configuration at program startup if
the EDM is already connected.
-
Add ability to
calibrate OAT readings for EDM-950.
Version 3.0
Build 2392 Enhancements & Bug Fixes
-
Force tachometer scale to appear linear.
Previous versions would output a non-linear scale, with 0 - 1500 RPM
occupying less space on the scale than the rest of the RPM range.
-
Correct error in tachometer scale
selection that prevented starting the scale at zero RPM. Previous programs
could not select some combinations of scale start and end points starting
at zero. The program will now adjust the end point higher if necessary to
allow scales to start at zero.
-
Do not display the __ FUEL QTY __
banner above fuel level gauge positions if no valid fuel level inputs
exist.
Version
3.0 Build 2362 Enhancements & Bug Fixes
-
Fix bug in fuel units
value conversion. Previous programs would not correctly convert from
liters, pounds or kilograms to liters, pounds or kilograms (programs would
correctly convert back to gallons, however).
-
Only allow decimal values when entering
fuel values in gallons. Previous programs would allow decimal values for
liters, pounds and kilograms, and then truncate the value when storing to
the EDM.
-
Improve user feedback during pressure
calibration. Previous programs would allow the user to attempt a second
calibration before the first was complete.
Version
3.0 Build 2319 Enhancements & Bug Fixes
-
Remove AMPS calibration controls as they
are no longer necessary for EDM calibration.
Version
3.0 Build 2305 Enhancements & Bug Fixes

modified on the Gauge Detail page to not be saved to the EDM if the user
clicked the
Finish
button from the Gauge Detail page.
-

-
Ensure that EzConfig II properly formats
fuel tables with fewer that 5 data points
-
EzConfig II can now perform offline
modification of saved configurations without first trying to open
communications to the EDM.

Removed default fuel
table. For safety reasons, the fuel table must be calibrated
before Left and Right fuel level gauges will be shown.
-
Add yellow "low voltage"
warning band to Volts gauge defaults.

on the Fuel Settings page
-
Clear fuel table values when left or
right fuel tanks are disabled.

IAT enabled or disabled.
Version
3.0 Build 2245 Enhancements
-
Minor changes to gauge defaults.
Previous changes
-
Support for Primary Instrument
installations.
-
EzUpdate
utility to allow
users to easily update software from the Internet. Users can
now select the "Check
for Online Updates" command on the "Help" menu
to run a utility that will install available updates to EzConfig II.
-
Improved Fuel Level Calibration page.
-

page for EDM950 support.
-
Add Low Fuel Level Alarm
setting.
-
Add support for selection of 1 of 5 differnent fuel pressure sensors.
-
Add code to prevent running more
than one copy of EzConfig at a time, which could result in communications
errors.
-
Enhance engine temperature conversion
code to select multiples of 5 or 10 for engine temperatures
scales and alarm limits, regardless of C or F scale selection.
-
Added control to select number of
entries in fuel configuration table.

processes.
-
Do not show primary gauges that are not
enabled.
-
Coordinate low
tank level alarms and fuel level gauges

Automatically adjust Fuel Pressure alarm
limit and gauge markings when switching between high and low pressure
transducers. This reduces the number of other user changes necessary
when switching Fuel Pressure transducer types.
-
Change Left and Right fuel tank level
defaults to include a red, low tank level warning band from 0 to 5
gallons.
-
Improved serial communications.
-
Allow MAP maximums up to 99.9 In HG. for high performance engine applications.
-
Allow MAP maximums up to 105 In HG. for diesel applications.
-
Enhance Fuel Settings page to allow
Forward/Aft tank configurations (Requires EDM930 software update to
properly display "FORWARD" and "AFT" tank labels )
-
Allow configuration of fuel pressure
gauges using "low-pressure" sensors (FP1 & FP2 ) for maximum values up to 40 PSI.
-
Allow configuration of Differential Fuel
Flow for primary instruments.

Add Minimize control to the Help window
-
Enhance Fuel Settings page to make fuel
tables more descriptive when using Resistive or Voltage fuel level
sensing.
-
Modify Voltage fuel level readings to
have three decimal place precision.
-
Allow user modification of non-primary
settings on primary EDM instruments.
-
Fix error that occurred when modifying
EDM configurations offline.
Previous programs would output a message box stating "Changes have not been saved to EDM. Discard changes?" even though the
user is working offline. This
message will no longer appear when working offline.
-
Fix error in Offline operations.
Previous programs would close EzConfig II the first time the user
attempted to modify a configuration offline. Subsequent attempts
would work as expected, proceeding
to
the Aircraft Information page after opening a saved configuration
file. EzConfig II will no longer close on
the initial attempt to work offline.
-
Fix error in EDM com port detection
feature that would occasionally cause "Framing Error" messages
to be displayed on systems using more than one serial device.
-
Fix error in gauge display when
attempting to set AMPS gauge to Charge/Discharge mode. Previous
programs would not properly display the gauge when attempting to save the
Gauge Detail changes. The changes would only take effect after a
second effort to change the AMPS gauge to Charge/Discharge mode.
-
Fix error in Aux Tank size
specification. Previous programs would multiply the Aux Tank size by
5 on input, causing the value to grow each time the information is read
from the EDM and later saved.
-
Fix error that caused Arithmetic
Overflow errors on some gauge option specifications.
-
Ensure that the
Finish button
saves changes to the current page.
-

Hobbs
values that resulted in incorrect
Hobbs
values
loaded into EDM at factory.
-
Fix error in communications while
setting serial number of EDM at factory.

initialization that cause values of zero to be loaded into the fuel
settings page.
-
Fix error in configuration log
naming. The log name now correctly names files created after 12
noon.
